Company Reviews

There are so many network marketing companies today. You can literally do a google search and have information talking about a particular company within seconds. The Internet has changed the way people access information. Just about every company I know has a website for prospects to look over the company, the management team, the products, and the compensation plan.

I learned years ago before the internet how to breakdown a company and sort through the fluff and stuff. I have been in multiple companies that either were sold or went out of business. I do not want you to go through the pains and disappointments that I did. Some of these concepts and term might be new to you so I will define certain terms.

The first thing you should look out for is a front-loading compensation plan. Front loading means that distributors have to buy a large amount of product each month to qualify for commissions. This practice will require you to have large amounts of inventory and require you to sell a lot of product. Front loading damaged the MLM industry in the past. You probably know someone who still has a garage full of products from a front-loading company. A reliable place to check out a company is to see if the company is listed with the Direct Selling Association. Certain guidelines are required to be listed with the DSA.

Stay away from companies that compensate their distributors for anything other than selling or consuming products or using a service. I had a couple friends that were investigated because they were involved in a company that paid distributors based only on enrollment. The Federal Trade Commission investigated this company, the founders were arrested, and the company was shut down.

Over the years, I have learned that you want to a company that is financially stable. There is nothing more devastating to a network marketer than having your company go out of business. The fact is a large number of network marketing companies will go out of business within the first five years. Unfortunately, I learned this lesson the hard way.

You want to examine the company like a cake recipe. The cake may look good but it might taste bad. I like to look at the management team. A big indicator on looking into the recipe is the management team. Have the founders of the company been distributors in the past? Were they successful distributors? The reason I like to know this is because it tells two things: network marketing experience and understanding their distributors. It’s important to unite with a company that knows what network marketers go through.

A cake also requires flour and eggs. You need to choose a consumable product that you would buy even if you knew nothing about the business.  The product must be consumable and something you believe in if you’re planning on making any residual income.

The last ingredients to the recipe are the numbers. Have you ever tasted a cake that contained too much salt? I want to know if the average person can become successful in the business. The network marketing industry statistics show that the average distributor only ever sponsors 2.7 people. The numbers are like rivers, you want to work with the flow and not against it. Choose a company’s compensation plan that works with the numbers.

With the right company you have all the ingredients to become successful, but you still need to work it. Implementing the right strategies and marketing tools using a system will be the icing on the cake. I believe the biggest reason why people fail in network marketing is not knowing how to market. Remember the second word in network marketing. Distributors must know how to reach the masses using effective marketing strategies and tools. If you want to make succeed in network marketing you need a effective maketing plan.

Look for the right ingredients and your cake will turn out amazing!

Hi. Really solid data on MLM Leads. I discovered your pleasant blog while searching bing. For the last few days I have been seeking to find more. Particularly anything to do with the actual lead generation or companies making them. I’ve seen it all and my cousin keeps advertising her newfound lead system craze on me.
